WellSpan Health, with hospitals in York and Gettysburg, Pa., and PinnacleHealth, based in Harrisburg, Pa., have entered into a non-binding agreement that outlines a potential merger between the two, according to a report in the York Daily Record.

Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed, a 870-bed, non-profit hospital and healthcare system, is exploring a potential partnership with Surgical Care Affiliates, which manages ASCs throughout the country, according to a report in The News & Observer.
