Idaho Hospital Purchases North Fork Surgery Center

Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho, has purchased North Fork Surgery Center for $1.8 million, according to a report in the Rexburg Standard Journal.

As a result, North Fork will become a department of the hospital and will be renamed Madison Memorial Surgery Center, according to the report.

North Fork approached the hospital 10 months ago in hopes of forming a partnership, according to the report. The hospital expects rates to stay the same for both facilities, and officials said that it will continue to put patients’ needs first.
