OhioHealth donates former hospital to behavioral health organization

 
Columbus-based OhioHealth donated the former OhioHealth Doctors Hospital of Nelsonville (Ohio) to Integrated Services for Behavioral Health, a behavioral health services company in Jackson, Ohio, according to The Athens News.

The transfer of ownership was effective June 22. Officials said the facility will be renamed Mary Hill Center of Nelsonville.

Hopewell Health Centers, an integrated healthcare provider in Chillicothe, Ohio, will become equal equity partners and a primary tenant at the facility, along with Integrated Services, according to the report.

Officials said Integrated Services plans “a substantial and immediate investment” into the facility to make the building energy-efficient, among other improvements.
