Northwell Health adds 350-member visiting nurse association to home care network

The New York State Department of Health approved an agreement allowing Tarrytown, N.Y.-based Visiting Nurse Association of Hudson Valley to join New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health's home care network.

The 350-member VNA of Hudson Valley provides home care services such as skilled nursing and physical, occupational and speech therapy to nearly 6,000 patients across the state.

"We are excited about our future as part of the Northwell Home Care Network," said Michele Quirolo, president and CEO of VNA of Hudson Valley. "While the VNA has long been established in our community and has provided vital services, joining with Northwell Health provides the opportunity to accomplish even greater things and to continue our tradition of caring."
