CityMD, a New York City urgent care provider, will expand its physician-led network to 400 providers under two acquisitions.
Here are four things to know about the deals.
1. CityMD signed a definitive agreement Feb. 13 to acquire STAT Health, a Long Island, N.Y.-based urgent care provider. Under the deal, CityMD will take on 12 STAT Health centers, with two additional locations set to open later this year.
2. CityMD also plans to acquire Queens, N.Y.-based FirstMed Immediate Medical Care, which is a single urgent care center.
3. CityMD will have 100 locations following completion of the deals. All locations will operate under the CityMD brand.
4. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
