Minnesota’s Lake Region Healthcare to Acquire Prairie Ridge Hospital

Fergus Falls, Minn.-based Lake Region Healthcare has signed a letter of intent to acquire Elbow Lake, Minn.-based Prairie Ridge Hospital and Health Services, according to a hospital news release.

The health organizations plan to provide greater access to care by implementing LRH’s clinical and management resources in Prairie Ridge Hospital and Health Services. LRH will add more physicians in family medicine, internal medicine and medicine specialties to LRH.

David Bjork, DO, a physician at LRH, will replace Medical Director Larry Rapp, who will continue to practice family medicine.
