As part of the collaboration, Jose Derdoy, MD, a pediatric gastroenterologist at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, will see patients the first Monday of each month at Saint Francis Medical Center.

“Our primary guiding principle is that all care should be delivered as close to the child’s home as possible, so we try to do a lot of outreach,” said Joe Kahn, MD, president of Mercy Kids, a network of pediatricians dedicated to providing children with quality care. “This is a collaboration around the care of children.”
