Chairman of the Deaconess Health System oncology committee Christopher Braden said the affiliation will benefit cancer specialists, allowing them to consult directly with their counterparts at MD Anderson.
“This collaboration will allow our local physicians the opportunity to become a certified member in the MD Anderson network,” said Mr. Braden. “They can have access to evidence-based guidelines, treatment plans developed by MD Anderson experts and treatment plans that are above and beyond what we would normally be able to offer them here.”
