Community members spoke with a seven-member collaborative committee assigned to examine the hospital and its financial viability since March. The committee is comprised of individuals representing the Indian River County Hospital District, the hospital’s board of directors and the Indian River Medical Center Foundation.
The committee recommended hospital officials consider partnering with other healthcare organizations late last month.
Officials will hold a second public meeting July 12.
