Over the next few months, an affiliation committee comprised of Highline and Franciscan representatives will evaluate the benefits of an alliance and how to best structure a working relationship. According to the release, Franciscan and Highline could collaborate to ensure high quality care by sharing best practices and resources. Another potential benefit would be a common electronic health record connecting Highline facilities and physicians.
