A source familiar with the negotiations told the Boston Business Journal that 238-bed Elliot Health System could be acquired by one organization or possibly purchased through a Lahey-HCA joint venture.
Regarding the potential deal, Elliot officials told the Boston Business Journal no final decisions have been made. Lahey and HCA both declined to comment on any ongoing partnership discussions.
