Hanover Hospital considers 2 proposals for future partnerships: 4 things to know

Hanover (Pa.) Hospital is exploring proposals from York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health and Harrisburg, Pa.-based PinnacleHealth System, according to a York Dispatch report.

Here are four things to know about the proposals.

1. HH, a community hospital, sent a request for proposal to several regional health systems to consider its options for affiliations, partnerships and service expansions. 

2. The request for proposal does not necessarily mean HH is for sale, but officials did not discount it as an option, according to the report.

3. WellSpan Health and PinnacleHealth responded to the request.

4. The hospital’s board of directors is currently evaluating the proposals, and no timeline for a decision has been set.
