Hackensack Meridian, Rite Aid partner to open health clinics in NJ

Hackensack (N.J.) Meridian Health officials announced a joint venture with Houston-based RediClinic to open co-branded, convenient care clinics in Rite Aid pharmacies across the nation, according to NJ Biz.

RediClinic operates clinics in 35 grocery stores in Texas and 48 Rite Aid stores in the northeastern U.S.

The new Hackensack Meridian Health RediClinics will have nurse practioners on staff able to diagnose and treat walk-in patients with a variety of minor ailments. Nurses will also be able to facilitate basic physical exams, according to the article.

The clinics will be open seven days a week with extended weekday hours.
