OMC took over Fulton County Hospital’s management in 2011 and had been credited with helping the hospital lower costs on supplies and other operations. However, this past March, some hospital employees and community members said OMC had contributed to “patient care problems and low employee morale,” according to the report.
Fulton County Hospital administrators attempted to resolve the issues, but several board meetings resulted in an early termination between the two parties.
