FHS President and CEO James Hereford will lead the merged entity alongside FHS’ existing board of directors and three additional board members from HealthEast. Officials said they plan to begin the integration process once they receive regulatory approval, which they anticipate receiving in spring 2017.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

By joining forces, we can expand clinical services and combine our expertise to serve patients where they live and work, giving them access to the widest range of care choices available.”
