Covenant Health, a nine-hospital system in Lubbock, Texas, finalized its acquisition of Grace Health System, also in Lubbock, Feb. 1.
Officials said the goal of the partnership was to deliver more effective care to the organizations' respective communities.
Randy Hickle, MD, co-founder and chairman of Grace Health System, said, "Covenant's mission to serve the vulnerable and disadvantaged aligns with our goal to improve access and provide better care to those who need it most.
