Bear Valley Community Hospital Creates Affiliation Committee

Bear Valley Community Hospital, a 30-bed, public-owned hospital in Big Bear Lake, Calif., has created a committee to weigh the potential ramifications of affiliating with a larger provider, according to a Big Bear Valley News report.

Ray Hino, CEO of the hospital, said the affiliation process is in its infancy. No potential partners were named, according to the report.

Bear Valley Community Hospital is about 40 miles east of San Bernardino, Calif., and approximately 100 miles east of Los Angeles.
