Appalachian Regional Healthcare partners with nursing college

Hazard, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare declared its intent to partner with the Gallen College of Nursing-Louisville in Kentucky on an associate degree in nursing program, according to CBS-WYMT News.

Officials said the goal of the partnership is to address the growing shortage of nurses in the region.

The application process for its inaugural class will commence March 30, according to the article.
