Here are three things to know:
1. Under the letter of intent, Adventist Health will operate the Ottawa, Kan.-based hospital and its outpatient facilities.
2. Officials expect to continue due diligence for the next four months, and expect to complete the deal by the first quarter of 2019.
3. The deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
