1. Cleveland Clinic makes foray into China
Cleveland Clinic has formed a strategic collaboration with a hospital in China through its new international affiliation program, Cleveland Clinic Connected.

2. 6-hospital California system explores sale to ease financial pressure
El Segundo, Calif.-based Verity Health is exploring strategic options, including a potential sale, to minimize financial and operational pressures, the six-hospital nonprofit system announced July 9.

3. Geisinger purchases medical office building occupied by its rival for $6.4M
Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger purchased a medical office building in Scranton, Pa., currently occupied by its top competitor in the region, for $6.4 million.
