3 Minnesota health systems launch regional partnership

Willmar, Minn.-based ACMC Health, Willmar, Minn.-based Rice Memorial Hospital and St. Cloud, Minn.-based CentraCare Health are forming Carris Health to better serve West Central and Southwest Minnesota, according to a WJON report.

The partnership is designed to strengthen the region’s healthcare and ensure each organization has local control to make the best decisions for the community they serve. The partnership also aims to minimize patients’ need to travel outside the local area for healthcare.

The agreement will take effect Jan. 1.
