1. CHS' divestiture of Florida hospital moves forward
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems signed a definitive agreement to sell Ocala, Fla.-based Munroe Regional Medical Center in April, and the deal received a key approval from the Marion County Hospital District June 18.
2. Walgreens, Humana partner for Medicare primary care clinics
Walgreens is teaming up with Humana to open primary care clinics for Medicare beneficiaries in two Walgreens stores in Kansas City, Mo., the companies said June 19.
