Under the collaborative, each member will remain independent but will benefit from increased efficiency and effectiveness from working together. The three members have equal ownership and control of CHC and will be allowed to maintain current relationships with other entities and form new ones.
The member systems are planning to focus on information technology, supply chain management and physician integration, among other areas. They will also work with physicians and other providers to help them improve their practices.
Frank Lordeman will serve as the collaborative’s president and CEO.
