TriHealth Acquires Pulmonary Physician Group Practice

Cincinnati-based TriHealth has purchased Pulmonary Consultants Inc., a five-physician pulmonary group practice in Cincinnati.

The practice, which has 13 other employees, is now known as TriHealth Pulmonary Medicine. Physicians will continue to see patients at their primary location in Cincinnati and in TriHealth satellite locations.

“Partnering with TriHealth means our patients will have access to the entire TriHealth system,” Joseph Thorpe, MD, one of the group’s founding members, said in the news release. “We are pleased to be the latest medical specialty physician practice to join TriHealth, as the organization seeks to better coordinate care between hospital-based specialists.”
