Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Adds Hospitalist Program

Pomona (Calif.) Valley Hospital Medical Center has launched a hospitalist program, according to an Inland Valley Daily Bulletin report.

Eight hospitalists were added to the hospital’s staff July 1 and are on duty 24 hours a day, according to the report. Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center plans to hire two more. Also, according to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin report, the hospital has six intensivists who act as hospitalists for intensive care patients.
