IPC The Hospitalist Company Acquires Physician Practice

IPC The Hospitalist Company has acquired certain operations from Harbor Hospitalists, an acute-care hospitalist practice in Port Charlotte, Fla.

“Harbor is a well-known and highly respected acute-care practice and we welcome their hospitalists into the IPC family,” R. Jeffrey Taylor, IPC’s president and COO, said in the news release.

The acquisition is part of IPC’s expansion into Florida’s west coast, according to the release.
