The board is responsible for licensing and disciplining medical professionals. In the past two years, the board revoked and suspended licenses for professionals due to sexual harassment of patients and criminal convicitions for DWI, drug prescribing, tax fraud and child pornography charges.
CBS 17 called the offices of physicians with indefinitely suspended licenses in North Carolina and confirmed they’re no longer practicing at the facilities.
