The hospital is investing $2 million to upgrade facilities and buy neurosurgery equipment after hiring two neurosurgeons in May, according to the report.
The investment is part of its strategy to become a tertiary care center, while also making it more competitive with Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and Froedtert Hospital, two other facilities based in Milwaukee, according to the report.
