The agreement is effective Jan. 1, 2014, and will focus on enhancing community health, reducing care costs, improving patient experience and enriching caregivers’ lives.
“MissionPoint has demonstrated that it is able to deliver enhanced, accountable care in a completely different way. Our agreement with MissionPoint enhances our own efforts to improve quality and deliver a better customer experience,” J.D. Hickey, BlueCross’ executive vice president and COO, said in a news release.
The partnership is the first of its kind for BlueCross in Middle Tennessee.
