Under the terms of the collaboration, Stamford Health will adopt HSS best practices across its orthopedic service line. HSS surgeons will also have the opportunity to perform orthopedic procedures at Stamford.
The HSS Orthopedics at Stamford Health service line will open on the fifth floor of the Stamford (Conn.) Hospital building, opening later this year. Orthopedic services will also be available at Stamford, Conn.-based Tully Health Center later this month.
“We believe this strategic and innovative relationship with HSS will elevate our institution to the forefront of musculoskeletal services and further differentiate us from others in the region,” said Brian Grissler, president and CEO of Stamford Health. “Through this collaboration, we will create a new Department of Orthopedic Surgery that integrates best practices and expands our capabilities.”
