Everett Clinic, Group Health to Form ACO

The Everett (Wash.) Clinic, a physician group practice with about 400 physicians, and Group Health Cooperative, a member-owned healthcare co-op, have announced they will form an accountable care organization to serve Group Health’s Medicare Advantage members, according to a report by Healthcare Finance News.

The program builds on an existing coordinated care relationship between the two groups. Both organizations will remain independent, though they may form a separate limited liability company to work together as an ACO, according to the report.

The Everett Clinic provides care for about 4,750 Group Health members, according to the report.
