The Toledo Police Department said Sharon Ward may have fallen or jumped from the sixth floor of the hospital’s parking garage, the report states.
Authorities said they discovered a body after a maintenance worker said he noticed a shoe in the bushes near the parking structure, and later discovered Ms. Ward’s body.
Police, who reported Ms. Ward’s disappearance on their Facebook page Jan. 2, said the coroner’s office will complete an autopsy of the body.
The situation is still under investigation.
