Banner Health to Acquire Union Hills Surgery Center, Convert to HOPD

Banner Health is currently acquiring full ownership of Union Hills Surgery Center in Glendale, Ariz., and plans to operate it as the Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center’s outpatient surgery department, according to a YourWestValley.com report.

Banner Health intends to rename the surgery center Banner Del E. Webb Surgery Center.

Banner Health also plans to invest more than $900,000 into the former Union Hills Surgery Center.
