Wiregrass Medical Center Lays Off 20

Geneva, Ala.-based Wiregrass Medical Center has laid off 20 employees, according to a WTVY report.

The personnel cuts were made across the board, according to the report.

Wiregrass Medical Center is attempting to cut $1.2 million from its budget, citing decreased Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement as the driving force for the layoffs.
