Although the state does not have confirmed COVID-19 cases, one person is suspected of having the illness caused by the new coronavirus from China, a news release from the governor said.

- Jim Guliano, RN, vice president, quality programs, Ohio Hospital Association
- Ann Hamilton, executive director of public and government affairs, Cleveland Clinic
- Pamela Jensen, president, ProMedica Memorial Hospital and ProMedica Fostoria Hospital
- Robert Kose, MD, JD, Hospice Northwest Ohio Medical Physicians
- Andrew W. Thomas, MD, CMO of OSU Wexner Medical Center

Referring to the group, the governor said in his news release: “As we learn more about COVID-19 and its spread in the United States, I am grateful for the expertise of these medical professionals who will help advise the state on strategies to deal with the disease and the best medical practices and procedures.”
The board had its first meeting on March 4.
