Cash-strapped Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo, Calif., is scheduled to begin closing April 21 after years of financial struggles. The hospital has about 300 employees.
3. Jobs, inpatient services to be cut at Parkridge West Hospital
Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Parkridge Health System will end inpatient services at Parkridge West Hospital in Jasper, Tenn.,this month. The move, which is scheduled for April 6, means about 20 employees will lose their jobs.
