Swedish Health Services leadership team visits Asia to partner with hospitals

Seattle-based Swedish Health Services CEO Tony Armada and several other members of the leadership team have traveled to Asia to discuss possible partnerships with hospitals for educational and training opportunities.

Mr. Armada and directors from various Swedish Health Services institutions are currently visiting China and Korea to discuss possible agreements with leaders from various hospitals. The partnership initiatives include research collaboration and the exchange of caregivers for training opportunities.

Swedish Health Services has already signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai-based CongraMarie Hospital Group.

During the trip, Swedish Health Services leaders are also serving as healthcare representatives on Washington State Governor Jay Inslee’s trade mission to Korea, which will focus on promoting investment in the state of Washington’s various industry sectors.
