SSM Health Care to Lay Off Employees

St. Louis-based SSM Health Care is planning to lay off an undisclosed number of employees, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.

The health system did not specify the reason for the layoffs, other than financial pressures, according to the report. SSM Health Care officials are in the process of notifying affected employees, and more information should be available later this week.
