Sierra Providence Health Network announces rebranding

The Sierra Providence Health Network in El Paso, Texas, is now the Hospitals of Providence, company officials announced.

"A new name for a new era in healthcare," the company’s new website states. "The Sierra Providence Health Network, now The Hospitals of Providence, renews its commitment to moving health forward."

The rebranding includes a new logo, as well as new hospital names.

Providence Memorial Hospital, which has a history that stretches back to 1902, is now Memorial Campus; Sierra Medical Center is now Sierra Campus; and Sierra Providence East Medical Center is now East Campus, according to El Paso Inc.

The new teaching hospital that is expected to open in El Paso by February 2017, a partnership between the healthcare system and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, will be named the Transmountain Campus.

The company has 4,000 employees and partners with more than 900 physicians.
