Service Workers at Tenet’s Saint Louis University, Des Peres Hospital Unionize

Service workers and technicians at Tenet-owned Saint Louis University Hospital and Des Peres Hospital, both in St. Louis, have voted to unionize and will be represented by the Service Employees International Union, according to a St. Louis Business Journal report.

The vote comes less than two weeks after nurses at SLU Hospital voted to organize as part of the National Nurses Organizing Committee-Missouri/National Nurses United.

Des Peres nurses will vote on whether or not they will join NNU later this month.
