Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill Hospital Plans $40M ED, ICU Expansion

Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, part of the University of Pennsylvania Community Health Network, plans to begin a $40 million renovation and expansion project of its emergency department and intensive care unit, according to a report by the Chestnut Hill Local.

The project will also include an expansion of the hospital’s surgical suites to fit equipment for minimally invasive surgery.

Groundbreaking on the project is set to begin later this month.
