New Healthcare Private Equity Trade Association Created

A group of private equity firms that specialize in the healthcare industry have formed a new Chicago-based, nonprofit trade association called the Healthcare Private Equity Association, according to a press release.

HCPEA’s 40 members account for some $300 billion of capital and more than 300 healthcare investment professionals, according to the release.

“This is a time of unprecedented change in the healthcare sector, and private equity will continue to play a key role in shaping the industry’s future,” HCPEA Founder and President Brian Miller, partner and co-founder of Linden Capital Partners, said in the release. “HCPEA will support and encourage the essential investments that private equity firms direct into our healthcare economy.”
