Maryland’s Washington Adventist Hospital Seeks Approval for Move to New Location

Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Md., will soon go before the Maryland Health Commission to ask for approval to relocate its facility to White Oak, Md., according to a Washington Post report.

The hospital announced six years ago its plans to relocate to a new site that would replace its aging facility.

If a move of acute-care services is approved by the state, the Takoma Park facility would transition to an outpatient facility, according to the report.
