The 213-bed hospital’s expansion will have surgery features such as a dedicated ophthalmology OR, two dedicated endoscopy suites, one dedicated cystoscopy suite, a pre-surgical unit with 14 patient rooms and two holding bays, and a post-anesthesia care unit with 20 recovery bays and two isolation rooms.

The average size of the new ORs has doubled to about 600 square feet and each will have telemedicine equipment so surgeries can be broadcast off-site in real time.
