Mary Ann Fuchs, MSN, RN, DNP. Vice President of Patient Care and System Chief Nurse Executive at Duke University Health System (Durham, N.C.). In addition to her roles as vice president of patient care and system chief nurse executive for Duke University Health System, Ms. Fuchs is the associate dean of clinical affairs for Duke University School of Nursing. She assumed her current roles in 2001 and led the system in its journey to achieving the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet designation in 2014. She serves as a regional director for the American Organization of Nurse Executives’ board of directors and is also a fellow in the Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives.
