Major GOP donors target AHCA

The Koch brothers are not happy with the proposed healthcare bill crafted by GOP senators, according to NBC News.

Charles and David Koch are two of the most highly influential donors in the Republican Party. They plan to spend at least $300 million on policy advocacy and election support on midterm elections in 2018. In their view, the Senate’s bill does not do enough to dismantle the ACA.

Six senators and five House members attended a summit hosted by the brothers this past weekend,

“At the end of the day, this bill is not going to fix healthcare,” said James Davis, a spokesperson for the brothers, of the newly released Senate bill.
