Louisville healthcare leaders join together to form CEO council

Leaders from 10 healthcare organizations in Louisville, Ky., have come together to form the Louisville Healthcare CEO Council, according to Louisville Business First.

In an Oct. 12 filing with the Kentucky Secretary of State states the council was created to be "a powerful voice to help transform Louisville's health economy."

Here are the 10 executives listed in the filing as directors, presented in alphabetical order. All organizations are based in Louisville.

1. Benjamin Breier, CEO of Kindred Healthcare

2. Bruce Broussard, CEO of Humana

3. Randall Bufford, CEO of Trilogy Health Services

4. Mark Carter, CEO of Passport Health Plan

5. Russell Cox, CEO of Norton Healthcare

6. Phil Marshall, CEO of Hosparus

7. Joe Steier, CEO of Signature Healthcare

8. Mark Vogt, CEO of Galen School of Nursing

9. Greg Weishar, CEO of PharMerica

10. Kennan Wethington, president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kentucky
