The rebranding is aimed at emphasizing the multispecialty care it provides in addition to its inpatient hospital services.

The hospital system’s board of directors voted unanimously Thursday to approve the name change, according to the report.

Along with the name change is a new blue-green logo for the health system, which features an abstract rendering of a palm frond. Signage with the new name and logo are expected to appear outside hospitals and clinics in October, and a new website will roll out in phases over the next year, according to the report. Changing the logo and work on the hospital’s website is expected to cost the system about $2 million.

The health system’s individual hospital names will remain the same.
