Knicks expand partnership with Hospital for Special Surgery

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery expanded its partnership with the New York Knicks professional basketball team, the hospital announced Sept. 5.

HSS is the official hospital partner for the Knicks, as well as their minor league team, the Westchester Knicks, and Knicks Gaming. The expanded partnership makes HSS the presenting partner for the Junior Knicks Coaching Clinics and Youth Leadership Platform. The hospital will provide physicians and physical therapists at youth basketball clinics, as well as training for coaches.

The partnership gives HSS brand exposure in Madison Square Garden during Knicks home games.

"As the nation's leader in orthopedic, we are proud to provide the New York Knicks, the Westchester Knicks and Knicks Gaming, with high-quality musculoskeletal care to help maintain their quality of life both on and off the court," Louis Shapiro, HSS president and CEO, said in a press release. "Additionally, we look forward to working seamlessly with the Junior Knicks Coaching Clinics and the Youth Leadership Platform to fulfill our mission of positively impacting the health and well-being of the next generation of young athletes."
