Construction is expected to begin by the end of this year and will be completed in 2014.
The commitment was made to Jackson Hospital Corp., an affiliate of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems. NHI also entered into a long-term lease extension with Jackson Hospital Corp. for an initial period of 10 years with a five-year renewal option.
